What is a Welcome to the Jungle?
Inspired by the classic “Jungle Bird", a Tiki cocktail that's made with rum, Campari, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. It was created in the 1970s at the aviary bar of the former Hilton Kuala Lumpur. A tropical classic made to perfection with Angostura® 7 Year Old Dark Rum.
Welcome to the Jungle
Ingredients
- 30ml Angostura® 7yr Caribbean rum
- 30ml Amaro di Angostura®
- 25ml Campari
- 25ml lime juice
- 50ml pineapple juice
- 15ml lime juice
- 15ml simple syrup
- 3 dashes Angostura® aromatic bitters
Method
- Shaken and poured over crushed ice.
- Serve in Tiki mug / Old fashioned
