Traditionally the Old Fashioned is made with whiskey, it's more of a template than an exact recipe. You can use any style of rum you like, but the Angostura 1919 rum's spice and vanilla notes pair well with the bitters and syrup making this an exceptional classic rendition of the Old Fashioned cocktail.
